Performing Arts

 

 

Every culture throughout history has had some means of expressing joy and celebration of life. We of the Empire delight in this merrymaking, especially with dance and music, story and song. At almost every event you will find performers in these timeless arts, each with a different culture and style. Should you have any ability in these arts, or a desire to obtain one, contact your local Lord to discover what is available near you.

 

 

 

At many events the dancers and drummers practice their arts late into the evening. We have performers at almost all of our events, including dancing, storytelling, music and singing. Some events, such as the hafla al-Madeena, have it as the primary focus.

 

 

And when we are too tired to drum or dance we love to hear a good tale. When sitting around a fire with your medievalist companions there is nothing better than a classic story from antiquity or a tale of the battles that day.
