PaleoTechnics- The study of Ancient Arts

 

Arts within the EMP include but are in no way limited to costuming, music, dance, carving, calligraphy and illumination, brewing, candle making, research, animal husbandry, armoring, smithing, medieval physicing, and herbology. If it was done or made in the ancient world we encourage people to research and try their hand at creating it! Artisans within the EMP are responsible for the beauty and wonder that enrich our world and every participant helps to create the tapestry that is the EMP.

 

 

 

 

 

 

All of our events are costumed activities. We encourage people to dress in whatever style of costume that they are most interested in. The time periods include anything that is pre 1750. Many people in the EMP enjoy early period costuming that includes mongolian, scythian, and early celtic styles.
