Synopsis of House of Lords Meeting June 6, 2008

Actions:
1. Beylik of the Black Unicorn Level One Branch charter and status approved unanimously.
2. Kelet Mori Obek Level One Branch Charter and status approved unanimously.
3. The Caravan Level One Branch status approved contingent on meeting standard requirements of charter and heraldry.
4. Canadian Bylaws of Incorporation discussed and approved unanimously.
5. The following changes were proposed by Viadrina Outpost:
• Removing the requirement of lanyards from single handed weapons
• Stating in the rules that “A pair of sturdy boots will qualify as ankle protection”
• Allowing the Society Martial to make “emergency” changes to the rules between House of Lords meetings, pending permanent approval at the next meeting. These changes would be at the request of a Lord or at the society martial’s discretion.
The following were changes that were approved:
~Removing the requirement of lanyards from single handed weapons
~ A sturdy pair of shoes that covers the ankles counts as ankle protection.
6. A committee to compile functional archery rules was formed. Including Lord Michael, Scygar, and Baldar.
