The Empire of Medieval Pursuits

All combat within the Empire involves full body contact (with minor exclusions for safety) and a counted blow system designed to recreate the feel of heroic and ancient battle. The two most important factors in enjoying this activity are honor and personal responsibility.

In order to participate in combat within the Empire you must don protective armor designed to minimize injuries and maintain the appearance of an ancient warrior. Currently the Empire doesn’t allow the use of metal weapons in its combat. Preferring to use weapons designed to minimize injury while still promoting the handling qualities of the originals.
